      Dream blackout?

This morning I got lucid and done a bit of flying (I couldn't get above a certain height for some reason) and then at random it was like I closed my left eyelid in the dream, one side of the dream went pure black but my right eye was seeing it all fine, then I decided to close that eye too and I just saw blackness and woke up, I didn't physically move each eye but it was dream eyes?

Probably you was about to wake up anyway and that is why it happened? The subconcious can do incredible things I say.

I get that black void a lot as well. It normally happens whenever it is dark in the dream or when I close my eyes. The best thing to do is stabilize the dream before this happens, because it is pretty hard to reverse.

If you are able to, though, you can get out of it. You have to concentrate on moving your dream body, and either opening your dream eyes or just seeing through your eyelids.

I usually get the black void when either entering a dream or leaving. What i would do is rub my hands and spin around , to stabilize the dream. Maybe you have another technique for that.

Then I would try to open my dream eyes. If it feels like their glued shut you can do what i did once, use your dream hands and try to pry them open, i found it on a video and it works. Or you can tell your self " i want my dream eyes to be transparent".
