Bright flash

Hi all, just had an interesting happening 10 minutes ago.

I was lying in my bed comfortably, listening to BBC 3 Radio to induce a WILD.

In bed I was kind of day dreaming and listening to the classical orchestra's, which relaxed me, but then a BRIGHT flash appeard in front of my eyes and sent a shockwave trough my body. It couldn't come from a source outside, as I had my sleep mask on and my room was totally dark.

Because I've never had a lucid dream experience before, I thought I was in one and tried to hold my breath in, to see if I were. Well, the results were clear and I was still awake and now I am here posting this topic to see if anyone else experienced this 'Bright light' and if it indicates you're on to a lucid dream. :)

Hypnagogic hallucinations.
Sensing various vibrations or "energy" in your body is common when dealing with WILDS. It means you were close or at least on your way to get there.

Possibly a "nimitta" (thai or pali word for "Meditative sign of absorption"). Can be used to improve one's meditation.
