vivid dreams?

I've been attempting lucid dreams, for a few days now.I haven't had one yet, but everynight I have been having vivid dreams, where i can remember everything about it. even which direction the sun was setting.I saw a random person[fake, not in real world.] in one of my dreams and I can even draw a picture of them.Another part, I heard a song in my dream and I woke up with it stuck in my head.(no, i didn't have a radio playing or anything while I was asleep.) But still no lucid dreams.am I getting close?

I always had very vivid dreams, even before I heard about lucid dreaming. I love those dreams :)

It is a good start to have vivid dreams, but unfortunately I´m the living proof that this doesnt need to mean you´re close to LD. :(

But dont stop trying! Maybe you´re luckier than me.
