Is this a real Lucid Dream?
Well, last night I slept around 12 after watching slumdog millionaire again, and my brain was really hyperactive and I couldn't sleep. When I finally started getting sleepy, I imagined a sort of scene in my head...and I really focused on it. I don't even remember what the scene was...but I was in it... And then, suddenly, it seemed as if my soul or whatever sort of shifted from my body on the bed to the body in the scene.
I realized I was at home. I was walking around upstairs. My parents weren't there, but my grandmother (the one who passed away when I was 8) was standing there. I made her stand there. Like, I imagined her. I felt as if someone told me to do that and it was the right thing to do. Anyways, we didn't really interract except for maybe a hug or something.
So I was walking around the house and I thought to myself, "Hey, let's make some things up." So I tried to make ghosts jump out of the house, but I didn't know what they looked like, so they were merely flashes of white light. (Or maybe I was too scared of the outcome.)
Anyways, I walked into my room, thinking again, "I know I'm dreaming. I know I can make up stuff. I can do WHATEVER I want!" I had lots of crazy ideas then - flying, building a fantasy world, blablabla... But it seemed to be SO much work. I KNEW it. Eventually, I lost focus and I woke up.
I woke up and forgot everything. I was wondering if I even fell asleep when I remembered, "Oh, I had that dream."
A bit of background - I dream in colour, usually have very adventurous dreams, I don't know that I'm in them, but I remember them REALLY well. However, anything similar to this dream has only happened to me once before: One where I was flying in empty space and was trying to create a landscape underneath. It, too, was black and white and it, too, cost too much energy that it lasted half the time of this one.
What's happening, dream experts, people who've been here, whoever? Am I getting better or something?
