I just joined the site & thought I'd say hello :)
I'm 17, and recently i was thinking about a dream I had a couple of years ago in which i remember being aware I was dreaming, and decided to look into it online.
I started doing the reality check technique to induce lucid dreams about a week ago, and on the second night, I was able to have one. Now I'm very interested in lucid dreams and the theory of astral projection..
So yeah, haha, that's why I'm here.

Hello, there. Hope you stay for a while. I'm in the Newbie zone section of the forums, and I've seen too many people profess to have a profound interest in lucid dreaming, only to leave two weeks later. In fact, there have been quite a few that I never heard from again. Anyways, I'm going to cast a bit more of a cynical light on the whole Astral Projection thing. Be careful where you mention stuff like that. It tends to start wars on here. Anyways, I'm making it sound a bit more serious than it is, but I just felt I should tell you that. Either way, enjoy the forum. You should find lot of helpful techniques here to help you get more lucid dreams, control them, and make them last longer. If you need help, find anybody with the green or blue stars. In fact, if they seem to be knowledgeable and at least polite in their posts, you can probably trust them around here. And if somebody can't answer your questions, they can probably point you to someone who can. And if they can't, they'll help you start a thread in the research section so you can find the answers to those questions. See how that works?;)
Anyways, sorry for getting of on some tangent. Welcome to DreamViews.
