i wanna lucid dream all night! and party every day x)

not really but that would be awesome. alrighty then. okay i've got a few questions...

1) when i lucid dream, i can control it but it doesn't last very long. i hate having to keep saying 'vivid' in my LD once the dream starts to fade a bit and sometimes when i do say that it doesn't work at all. i've never tried to spin...does it actually work? are there any other things you can do to attain lucidity?
2) when i want someone to appear...uhm they kinda get in my dream all messed up looking. like i wanted jack sparrow to appear and he had no nose. :eek: oh and when i wanted hugh jackman to appear, he appeared perfectly fine so i jumped on him. so that was good. oh oh oh and can someone tell me how to fly in a dream? like do i just get out of my house and flap my arms? :shock:

There is a Flying tutorial in the tuts section. Basically it takes more than flapping your wings. My advice is don't try it on your first LDs. Waste of time. Also, I find extreme concentration on objects causes them to deform, relax a bit :)

Bro, theres no limitations on what you can and cannot do once your lucid. The first time i was lucid I made a police officer and his car vanish; for some reason i was getting arrested, and i remember thinking to myself "this is a dream" next thing i knew i was lucid. Point of the story is that it doesnt really matter if how experienced you are, its your dream and its your world, and you can do whatever you want, just remember to have fun.

unlearn whatever you have learned in dreams. Browse the dream journals on this site...and read up on other peoples lucid adventures....check the tutorials ect ect.... I've learned that commands suck for me. Maybe they suck for you too.

Think about all of your normal dreams, and how many times every person in it looked perfect for you. Sometimes crap is gonna look zany, but don't let it discourage you. Think about how different a dream is vs. real life. In real life, all the data is automatically handed to you, and your brain processes it. In a dream, it's created in real time and sometimes you just have to make due.

As for Lucidity, what technique(s) are you using to get lucid? There's the dream induced lucid dream, and the Wake induced lucid dream. Anything other than those two are variations.

Rubbing your hands together and spinning are two well known things to do if you need to clear up your dream some.

As for flying, just go with it and jump...Try hopping and getting higher with each hop. All of this is in the flying tutorial so go and read that.

Yeah...commands definetly suck for me..next time i'll just spin or rub my hands together. The last time i got lucid, i randomly got into an unintentional WILD. I wasn't even planning to and i'm in some creepy SP. I actually don't mind SP... I find that WILD is the best method for me, also WBTB.
