WILD noises?

well i guess im not a newb anymore xD but you know how when falling into Sp people will sometimes get HH? well i was trying to WILD last night an i got to the point where my ears started buzzing an i heard a loud *thump* on my bed near my feet an i felt it through my bed. i thought someone had just jumped on my bed so i shot up. but nothing was there? i was freaked out. i seiorously thought someone was in my room! :shock: could this be HH? Hypnagogia Hallucinations= HH. or is this just a side effect from SP?

sounds like auditory and kinetic HH to me.

O_O then do you just ignore it?! what if someone really had jumped o n my bed :shock:

chances of experiencing HH while falling asleep: nearly 100%
chances of someone breaking into your house and jumping on your bed...? :tongue:

Hey thanks for this, I like how you described it so well. I get the weirdest hallucinations! I've felt my cat crawl on my bed and lie right next to me and purr (she was locked in her crate all night), I've heard static popping, I've felt my bed do a complete 360, so much - Yah just ignore it Skydreamer, just think of it as your dream forming (sounds, feelings etc) before you can enjoy and control it....

Yeah, it's odd what your brain comes up with when it's not getting input. Not seeing isn't the same as seeing nothing. Not hearing isn't the same as hearing nothing. Your brain can handle hearing nothing, it doesn't know what to do when it's not hearing.

wow that does make alot of sense! Thanks~ actually i just started getting to the point of HH,and its two different things: reading about hallicunations an actually experiencing them....:roll: guess i was a little naive :P didnt think it's feel so real :? but then the noises are part of the dream forming? does it become part of your dream? like for example if i had'nt have moved would i go into full sp an dream of something hitting the ground?
