New guy

Hello everyone. I've been looking around this website for a while and finally recently had my first lucid, so I decided to join. In the dream, I fell over and started to feel really weird which made me question if I was dreaming or not. I turned around and there was a shelf behind me and I passed my hand through a pillar holding the shelf up. Just to be sure, I did the check where you push your finger through your hand and it finally worked! I was so intrigued with how real my finger through my hand looked that I spend the rest of the dream playing with dream checks. Can't wait to have more!

Oh yea. Even now, I still am dazzled just by doing simple reality checks in dreams :D I've found that it's also really good to do a bunch of them and stabilize the dream and make yourself 100% positive it's a dream, really helps me with dream control.

I agree that it is a crazy feeling to be doing something you know is impossible. Even if it is something simple, it is still amazing to watch it happening.
