      Wild

Ive been trying to have a lucid dream, Ive used some techniques but the WILD one has grabbed my attention. Ive read about and all that stuff but what i wonder is that what if your in the part where your like paralyzed, what if i some how i start feeling uncomfortable in that part and more more uncomfortable until i begin to panic more and more would this be dangerous like would i be able to be like in a coma or something.

As far as I can tell you it isn't dangerous at all (and certainly not to the extend you're describing!). You have to remember that SP (sleep paralysis) is something that happens each and every single night you go to sleep. The only difference with WILD is that you stay awake during the process, which you normally don't do (of course this can differ from person to person).

Sometimes you won't even get to experience SP during a WILD. And you also have to remember that you should try and stay calm during a SP and remember that everything that happens is only in your mind It doesn't have to be uncomfortable, I've had many funny experiences with them.

You won't be in a coma. Your body might temporarily (meaning 1 second to 8 minutes max) paralyze itself. If you wiggle your toes and relax, it should go away fairly quickly. If you keep calm and anticipatory, it shouldn't be frightening. Best of all, you don't need SP to lucid dream. There are many WILD techniques that aren't even related to SP. DILD techniques have nothing whatsoever to do with SP.

      You'll Die

don't listen to shift! Just give up, and work on dilds! If you're worried about possibly dying that means you're not ready. Just go to DILDs where it's coma proof and stop asking questions about things that wont happen.

What's your problem? If you don't want to help, then why are you here?

If someone has completely unfounded fears about something that is totally safe, why tell them this is right? All he needs to do is keep reading about SP. Some wild fear about SP is not a reason to write off an entire 50% of lucid dream induction techniques (no pun intended).
