My first DILD!
This might be the last time I start a new topic here, so here it comes!
I had my first DILD today! :D
All my other LDs were WILDs before, but I finally managed to pull out a DILD!
I dreamed about some school trip into the woods with strange cartoon characters, but I wandered far away from the class, and then I said, "I am aware that I am dreaming, hahaha of course, I am dreaming, hahaha", then I turned around, and there were 3 paper like wooden monsters, and I cast an ice spell on them, but it didn't work out, so I cast a fire spell on each 3, and first, nothing happened, but then they got burned to ashes. Then I somehow lost myself again...
If you are interested of my other two LDs that morning, then visit my dream journal in the awesome:
Dream Journal
section! :D
Happy Lucid Dreaming Everyone! ;)

Well congratz! :)
It looks like if you start forcing WILDs, which I assume you've been doing, your brain becomes more aware and it's easier to have DILDs.
That's pretty awesome. I'll be checking out your Dream Journal, as a noob myself that hasn't had any LDs yet, it could be helpful. :D

Congratulations, and lucky. All my 2 of my 3 LD's have been DILD's, where my third one was a DEILD after a LD.
SO far, no luck with WILD. I woke up at 3:30 AM last night (4.5 hours after I went to bed) And attempted to WILD. I stayed up for 10 minutes before doing it, and I think I passed out when I got to breath number 150. Also, I lost count a LOT.

Haha dreamist! :D
I am a noob myself in Lucid Dreaming, so I don't think I am the best source of help to you, but who knows... :)
Oh, and I did not force WILDs, I'm a natural SPer since a year ago or so :?

Oh rightt, I wish I had that ability haha. It's helpful to see what other ppl new to LDing try, so in a way, it is helpful. :)

I am also a natural SP'er. I reach SP every night (most of the time) Whether I want to or not. I just can't get into a dream. Ive been fully paralyzed before, but still didn't get any falling sensation and no dream scene formed whatsoever.

Nicely done, more DILDs to come I'm sure. :D

Geeome!
I don't know if this helps you or not, but I don't get any falling sensation or anything either. I just close my eyes, and don't concentrate on any sense, then eventually I try to float my body or anything, and if that doesn't work, I make a new body for myself, and go out with that. I never really "drifted" into another dream scene. I always start out going out of my bed. Just try to stay still and don't percept anything, then try in a minute, or when you feel like it to get out of bed by unnatural means. Like floating, etc. If that doesn't work, just try to get out of bed, and see if you can move.
There were many times I thought I am in SP in reality, but I was in SP in a dream already!
