My Experience, what do you make of it?

I while I ago I was meditating listening to a mp3 of some sort, never really had an experience like this before, I some how started to imagine I was a...almost pod like shape, which represented me in complete darkness.

So imagine darkness everywhere and me (this podlike shaped, like a cocoon) anyway here is the good part I could move the pod twirl it around upside down every which way, and it felt so real, I felt like I was being turned and flipped etc and I was in control and what was going on. every time I flipped it or turned it I felt happier and happier (maybe because the exp. was new to me). Really strange at the same time, blissful...

Does anyone know what exactly happened? I didn't hear any noises or geometrical shapes like I have heard when you do with a lucid dream. Any ideas?

Unfornuatly, I'm not experienced in meditating as I've never tried it before. But that does sound really awesome.

Did you have your eyes closed and were imagining all this? Or could you actually see the pod and everything?

I had my eyes closed, I can't remember how i got to this stage, i was just listening to a meditation mp3 then the next thing i remember was this feeling and the 'pod' hehe sounds silly when i say pod. but i am not sure how to describe it another way. I know i had this feeling of trying to keep this feeling/dream/state going, cos i didn't want to come back down, almost like, not scared but like no please keep being here don't go back and i think that overcame in the end and i came back to reality. But yeah strange but awesome feeling! it would be great to know exactly what it was...

dude tommo, that sounds fucking awesome. i meditate all the time too, but have never experienced anything like that! how long were you meditating for? what was the mp3 called? what are some of your techniques for meditating?

I was meditating for maybe less than an hour, but i can't remember what happened after the mp3 stopped or whatever, I must have zoned out, fell asleep or something and come back into, what I have described above. The Mp3 was a Richard Brandler, self improvement or something. Recently I had had some hynopsis, where the fella told me the more I spun, something I can not recall wat it was but it was blue or red the more confident I would become something like that. I don’t think it was related to what I was doing, but I may have had that in my mind at the time.

My techniques (me meditating is very on and off, I get into it then stop it pick in up a few months later) I just sit there concentrate on my breathing and clear my mind, I sit on my bed, nothing really out of the ordinary. I like to listen to an mp3 like the one above helps me focus/zone out a bit more. But silence is fine too.

It’s a great feeling having spent a hour focused and then u come around and ur like where did that time go… u don’t notice it.

A question in regards to WILD and Lucid dreaming. I have to admit I am a bit worried about Sleeping Paraylsis. It seems a bit odd. Anyone thoughts and experiences on this. I think I may have had this for a few seconds before I woke up, kinda inbetween sleep and being awake… I didn’t mind it becaue I could wake myself up from it.
