future dreaming??

Hi,I joined here because I'm wanting to find out more about the dark dreams I have,the ones where I dream parts of my future and then see it happening a few days or weeks later.
Does anyone have any information on these dreams.I have done this all my life and although I have "normal dreams",I do dream of my future a lot.
It seems to be connected with strong emotional feelings and I have seen them as a warning that something is coming up.I had one last week and wrote it down and drew a lot of it,it all happened in the last 24 hours.

If you are really dreaming your future, then it is a rather interesting phenomenon. Anyways, I do believe in this kind of stuff, but many others don't.
We could discuss such things in the beyond dreaming section.

I have had one dream like this a long time ago. It was way back when i was in grade school and it wasnt anything very important...actually really random and dont know why it came to me. If i were you i would be happy if this was happening to me. I actually have found a lot of ties de ja vu and deaming, after building up dream recall a little bit. You shouldnt be afraid of these or worried, even if they are events that aren't usually the most pleasant.Maybe try using these to your advantage to prepare you for emotionally difficult events. Try to understand them better and who knows you might be able to learn some pretty cool stuff if what you are saying is true:lol:.

The dreams are nearly always about something I will feel strongly,not everyday...for example I had a dream a while ago about a friend.
"I was washing the floor with a mop and bucket and the friend arrived,we had a huge argument and she left and I knew it was the end of our friendship."

About ten days later I was sweeping the floor.I was sweeping and putting the dust into a container my friend had given me earlier with a huge bunch of flowers in it.So I'm sweeping away and then as my friend comes to the screen door I realized what I was seeing I had seen in my dream.She was very upset,shed had an argument with her mother and had decided to move away.Her mother had cancer and I felt very strongly it was not good to move away and leave her.
Because of the dream I was very cautious about what I said and kept quiet about my views.The meeting ended on good terms and my friend moved away but we kept in touch.

The dreams seem to be of a very personal nature and its images I remember,though I have dreamed of wars and volcanoes erupting and those have happened...but my feelings were strong.

I guess I was hoping to find some other people who dream like this and talk about it.last night I was at a reunion with old friends...

You also have had "future dreams" i also have had them but for some reason they have also stoped (see my other post). My "Future Dream" went into the future anywhere from a few days to even one a few years into the future.:shock:
I always seem to remember the dream i had (about the future right when it happens for real)

this happened once to me a while ago. I didn't know the specifics of the situation, but I knew the basics of what would happen, and it didn't untill about 2-3 years after the dream. It was part of a longer dream, but it's the only part I remember. I also remember it was very vivid, it looked almost real.

Very interesting dreams. I read about this before, can't really explain it.
Some call it a sixth sense, others are skeptical about it.

There are several ways to explain precognitive dreams. Most skeptical people would say that everyone dreams so many dreams about random things that some of the dreams are bound to be about random things that will also happen in your life. For example dreams on war or volcanoes erupting like you said... they seem to be pretty generic and are easy to come true. However, specific dreams like you described, meeting a friend while mopping the floor and having an argument, may be actually precog (but I guess nobody really knows for sure, science denies it but people still experience it). The thing about feelings you mentionned is also interesting, since from my experience the emotions of near-future events can sometimes be felt, perhaps also in dreams. Kind of like an emotional echo backwards in time, if that makes sense.

My theroy on this is that your brain is makeing calculations on what it thinks is going to happen with the choices you made that day and the thinking leeks into the dream.

I agree with our Hylian friend. I think your brain is guessing at the future and sticking it in your dreams, then if it's right, it's as if you had a dream of the future. Normal.

I agree with you that its like an echo backward,I have thought and read a lot about it because it used to freak me out when it happened,and the clearest way for me to see it is that in the flow of my life certain emotional events will cause a splash or ripple...as that event ripples out I sense it when dreaming,as I meet the ripple I see the event.It is the ripple I pick up on and as I go through the ripples when awake I realize that I have seen this before in my dream.
I have looked at my mind guessing but that doesn't explain,a) how it is so vivid and b)how it is written down in my journal beforehand.
Its not something I'm trying to prove or feel any need to explain or justify,I am just trying to find others who share this experience and compare notes,to get some more information that I may not have noted myself.I also hoped to ask some questions about their early experiences and dreaming.In native cultures dreaming was used to seek game to hunt,It was a survival technique learnt by some and utilized by many,this interests me too.

This is actually rather normal. We would call these "prophetic dreams", which describe an event in one's future. Though normally these would be of an event happening to yourself, they've also been recorded as living a moment in the life of another. A good example that I can remember is from another DreamViews forum user. Though unfortunately I can't remember who it was, or where the post is, one person described a dream of hers as walking out her front door and seeing her cat on her car smiling. Two days later, her uncle/dad/husband (can't remember XD) said he walked out the door that morning and swore the cat was smiling. Though it's not totally common, I would say your future dreams are nothing to be afraid of. If you have them a lot, I would take advantage of them and prepare for whatever's coming!

Precognitive dreams how i have come to no them so well, I used to have many precognitive dreams (i still do have them occasionally) & have even predicted things in waking life which infact has even shocked me. I get confused on how this could happen. I have only ever predicted deaths so i think of it as a curse more than a blessing. I very much believe in science, but i do believe in spirtuality aswell. With me it is 50/50. To be honest for me to believe in something i have to have evidence& i know for a fact that i have had these dreams/premonitions& they have infact come true. But they cannot be explained?. Is it because the brain is so powerful?.
Or is it something more spiritual?. Who knows .... ♥

I have also had precognitive dreams when I was younger. Pretty much freaked me out. Maybe when a person gets lucid, you could say to yourself something like "I want to see my future!" and then, boom, you see it?

Wrong, i dissagree. I have had more than 3 dreams a month ever since i was born, i estimate i have had well over 2000 precognitive dreams, They are not calculations, they are exact recordings of future events. If it were calculations, then you would be missing non observed elements in the dream, but at the corner of your eye is that plant in the corner, or the dog licking itself, Definately not the center of attention when the event roles out, but clearly play for play when you have the dream. Observed & non observed elements are in place whether the subject observes them or not. Precognition is NOT dream interpretation.
Most people do not give a full observation of their surroundings, what happens is this is recorded into memory, while in your mind, since the dog was not observed is absent in that recording. So when retreiving the data of past events, the dog is simply not there, even know several people did observe it & is in turn recorded into their personal recollection.
Its obvious that the precogers Have an:boogie: innate ability to absorb all things observeable & record every object & event in manifestation. This is further recorded into memory.... So a hightened ability of observation is relevant.
So it may not be safe to say, but pure speculation that people without precognition are potencially infact very bad observers.
This can be proven by taking a past event & having a subject describe the event... You will quickly discover the lack of observation between each subject.
This is conclusive to the subjects lack of observation & potencial dellusional aspects of a programmed reality(simplified)... if you believe it to be, then it simply manifests into reality, but if it does not exsist, then it will not be conclusive to the viewer, do to the fact it must be agreed upon by other observers... This does not seem to be the case with precognition. Infact if scientists would get their heads out of their asses, we would discover the blatant lack of observation.
Although, from a precog's view you can infact change your position in future events that seem to be in stone. Thus making the future almost unpredictable, yet a personeable attempt at manifesting the end result.
So if a car backfires, this can be prevented by turning off the car, but if the car is on, then it will without a doubt backfire as the dream presented.
Precognition is VERY VERY REAL.....Without a reasonable doubt, it has been proven time & time again & still put back up on the dusty shelf.
The later years, up to present date, it is evident on the AGENDA to oppress what has been labeled phenomenon & other ugly words such as mysticism.
This can be concluded by the methods of Synchronicity in precognition testing methods... Precogers are trapped in a state of synchronicity, where everything has happened already. The first tests done in the 1940's consisted of using a 24 card deck to test clairevoyance/precog patience. Now as a keen observer, i am here to tell you that once the five pictures are recorded into consciousness, they become just that, observed...Now as we take a closer look, we realize after having a number of cards dissplayed till finally presenting the one card that was not displayed yet, would end the test. That means you could potencially name the five designs within 5 cards(ending the test) at its greatest potencial. You would be unable to do further tests with this exercise for about a week. So why are scientists using synchronicity??? I call it fighting fire with fire. If the patient knows there will be a bunch of cards, it in turn becomes self defeating. Now if you have 5 different cards & the patient dreamt it already, then the chances would increase, even know statistics say otherwise....Lets get serious, parapsychology is a career killer, it also would make alot of physicists throw out years of schooling. I could imagine some would kill to shut this up.

Precognition would only show the most EMOTIONAL aspect of winning the lottery, I dont think you would be dreaming about the numbers, when your more likely to be having dreams of the mansion you just bought(as you say i dreamt all of this.) So for any precogers out there that feel we may be able to cheat, its not likely you will see the numbers, but the unfolding events as a result, so its ok to buy a lottery ticket..I am trying to learn to not feel guilty, because it has proved to be self defeating....(The CIA refered to Precogs as "born loosers") Because they could use someone with more beleif in themselves to remote view.
The fact of the matter is you can manifest the numbers you pick(easy pick as well) to actually win. This isnt prediction, it is laws of attraction, but i am not a supporter of the secret & believe the powers are in expansion for the higher vibrating individuals out there.
Maybe a group event. Where we are some how connected, even know all of us can manifest seperately, we really have to come into agreeance on most physical aspects. As to properly colapse the wave function(quantum).
It is relevant atleast to me, that all six sences are conclusive to the complete observation. Some just arent getting the full picture. And the lack of sound recollection is indeed a highly capable wave function colapser as well, but is taken for granted & limits peoples reality as well. This can present itself as the blind are assisted by sound vibrations bouncing off solid objects. This is further assisted by the equalibrium also part of the complete sound operation, & also a keyrole in discovering how this liquid in our heads effects our dream state, clearly implying it is on a molecular level. Some scientists conclude precognition has clear Gamma bursts in delta-theta states(multiple states of consciousness). It effects the water molecules in ways of matter & antimatter dynamics. Some say we are using old DNA encoding from our earliest ancestors, Mitochondria. This has the ability to absorb gamma bursts & convert this antimatter into matter & stored as energy(photosynthesis). While everyone else is dying from cancer. Though playing with gamma will undoubtedly get you burned. the location of our antimatter self as it were is undetermined. Just as the position of an electron is only determined by the colapse of the wave function itself. These gamma streams are being sent from a antimatter self, You then in turn open the envelope to read the signal.... The signal can infact be past/present/future. When your antimatter self is closer, you have premonitions almost instantaniously or within a few days. If your matter & antimatter self collide, thats it. you take on a form unkown other than energy itself. But with manifestation evolves into matter once more. These are rescent University studies, Yes all the big schools are not scared to tackle this when they havent stepped into the science community yet(college students). Just like when you see college football, they try way harder than the NFL. Even know the NFL consists of the best.
Some scientists think the water molecules in the pinneal gland are actually flipping inside out, as if we in essence become the water molecule from the inside. BUT, i am NOT gonna touch that one with a slingshot. The theory is that water itself is actually the best conductor for this phenomenon, as it can be easily manipulated. I could imagine this could lead to liquid projection screens.....UHHH, or ummmm, wait a minute, dont they already do that??? J/K

Most of this information is in cooralation with modern studies & quantum physics, If i have missinterpreted elements, then i apologize... I only wish to find the truth & trial & error are essential. Your not the only one who has these"future" dreams i remember this one time i was dreaming about i was in class and i was talking about something paranormal that was happening at that moment then i woke up whent to school and it happened!Aparently me and my mom are the only ones who have these things happening to us and am glad that am not the only one hear on this board who has those! Wish i could help you bud but sadly i have no clue what to tell you but this one tip try to keep thinking about what happend in that dream it could really help in certain things going to happen like avoiding an argument!

If you have ominous feelings you should change the way you feel. Focus. Take control of your emotions & your mind. Our lives alone are our own to control. Decide to be happy & you will be happier. Chance favors the bold & the prepared. Focus on & move towards what you can do. When it comes to dreams life & dying we might not have many options but isn't all that we can do?

Find joy in your dreaming of foresight; we don't need to prove anything to anyone. Choose to be happy. Offer others support. Be generous & fearless. Know that whatever you see will change; it is inevitable. Make the best of it all. We are only here for a little while. It is only possible to do any or all of these when we are present in the moment we are in.

I dont think all precognitions are dark, just how powerful your emotions are, which makes it hard to cheat on the lottery when the dream is about jumping up & down. I dont think your alone.
I think some people get confused by reflective dreams that manifest after the original precognitive signal. by this i mean, they do dream interpretation, because they manifested a result in a more awake dream... This becomes the easiest to remember... More powerful precogs see the event as it would through there own eyes. They call it precognitive dreams, but it is NOT a dream. Infact, they are signals. It is in a deep state of consciousness teetering on delta-theta. 3.858htz.. These phenomenon can only be achieved at the fulcrum points of consciousness(multi-states). This is further advanced by implimenting consciousness with alpha/gamma waves. This point can be reached by reflecting inwards daily after a beta(working) state. In turn ralaxed in a state of low interference(No Tv) Alpha. Then you begin to awake in a dream by means of repetitious behavior. This can be enhanced by simply having an open mind about everything & realizing that about 40% of what you know is true. Always ask who,how,what,when,where,why in every aspect of your life, even if it may conflict with the rest of the world... For Real, never give up the fight... Never decide on anything, even when its a nice thought to settle on for now. You may find it was all a lie.
It seems to me that anyone that comitted to a physics major have there reputation & career on the line when it comes to facts. So when you do studies that are conclusive evidence, you must look at college laboratories, but some are part of secret organizations as well & will reflect the results, to there favor. So, there are alot of explanations to this, but the most profound research is in EEG with abilities to measure average & profound brainwave bandwidths in people. It is conclusive of this 20% or so with wider brainwave capabitlities which alow for us to accept signals unheard by the human ear. But the other 80% cant digest it. These signals are interpreted by your subconscious mind... It is believed through Quantum theory that our anti-particle self can be far distances from our matter self & comes back with the future as a data stream. So people that experience these events are coming into tune with there subconscious mind. This level can be interpreted by how soon the signal plays out in reality. So when you get to 2 days later, then you are at your peak of sensitivity, If you merge, science sais you explode, but reform into energy. uhhh. wow.... ok!!?! But i am here to tell you, when you see 2 of you in a dream & you know your the one asking questions, the other you will shake on it & amazing events transpire as you disolve into one. I have changed precognitive outcomes by comming into agreeance with my subconscious. We are one in the same. Other people have dreams about boiling bunny rabbits & wake up & go to work. I dream my future & am me in the dream, unless i am seeing through the eyes of an unknown. I can talk to myself with blackscreens & can do it in deep sleep as well.. It raises in frequency when you have a positive knowing that the moment is not scary, but that it is realy truly happening. Then you find you answering your own questions & manifesting results in the real world, but i sudjest good intensions only. Other times, you wake up mad, because of the precog, so you could be mad twice or defuse it when it roles out. So people think we are dillussional & have super powers, but it is very hard living like this sometimes, as it gets confusing when everythings happened already.:crying: But can benefit the end result which is undetermined, Well unless you are immoble or inactive in life. So your position in the event CAN be changed.
