Last night I wanted to try and induce sleep paralysis so when i went to bed i layed perfectly still and never moved a muscle. After laying for an hour, from 10 to 11, it never came. Was there a reason i didn't experience SP?

You will have a much greater chance of inducing sleep paralysis by using the WBTB first.
Why do you want to induce sleep paralysis?
Likely it's because you want to lucid dream? In that case, maybe you're focussing too much on the sleep paralysis itself, and not your eventual goal. In my opinion, it'll be very hard to induce sleep paralysis if you're constantly paying too much attention to your body, wondering if you're 'paralysed' yet. From what I gather the trick is for you to turn your attention away from your body (through various methods), so that it will go to sleep automatically.
Anyways, just an idea,

If sleep paralysis is your goal (I don't know why it would be), your best bet is to wake yourself up from a lucid dream prematurely. You could also try lying completely still after one of your natural midnight awakenings.
WILD does not always induce sleep paralysis. Some people pass through it when they WILD, but many do not. If WILD is your goal, be sure you are doing it after 4-5 hours of sleep and some sort of WBTB.
The trick to getting to sleep paralysis is relaxation. You really have relax your muscles, let go, and act as if your falling asleep normally. Next time, take deep breathes, this relaxes the body more.
