Hello!!!
Nice to meet you. (please tell me your name)
Please excuse my awkwardness, I'm not really good at 'introduce youself'......... :hrm:
I used to have lucid dreams at least twice a week. After having severe health issues they became less frequent, but now they are starting to happen with some regularity again. (yay!) I'm here because i'd like to learn how to have a lucid dream when i want to have it instead of it just happening whenever. That's kinda possible, right?

Hey Rachael welcome to the forum! As you can guess, my name is Xetrov (really!) :)
It is definately possible to learn to have LDs when you want them, and since you are already having them it should not be that hard for you! Just browse the forum, there are tutorials on all kinds of techniques, and if you have any questions the legions of nice people here will for sure try to answer them! Good luck :)

Hi Rachel and Dave :) :welcome: to Dream Views!! The most active lucid dreaming site online! I hope that you all find your stay with us worthwhile and very informative. To get started, read the private message our wonderful Dream Guide Team sent to your inbox. You can do so by clicking the "Private Messages" hyperlink at the top right of this window. Hang out in the Newbie Zone and ask questions until you're more familiar with the board if you want or jump right in! Before you post in a forum though, make sure you read any stickied threads in that forum (if there are any to be read).
Rachel, I've heard many accounts of people being able to slip into a lucid dreaming state while under the weather, so it's not uncanny that you were introduced to lucid dreaming while not feeling so well. While the circumustances that led you to seek us out were unfortunate, we're glad you came. :D

Hi Xetrov, Dave, Jeff and Taylor......thanx for the nice welcome, fantastic to meet you ♥
@Jeff: actually I had lots of lucid dreams before I got sick and during my sickness, but hardly any over the last year and a half of my 'recovery', it's only been in the last 6 months they have started to come back....:bliss:
(I'm really not sure why that is, either....just my luck i guess ;) )
