Yet another newbie!!
Hello everyone!
I'm new here... and am still wandering around the site getting to know the place.
I have very vivid and detailed dreams. Often times I realize I am dreaming, but it has been rare for me to take control of my dreams. Most times I don't really want to take control. Maybe because I'm more laid back and I just like to let the dreams go as they will.
The only times I chose to take control in the past was when I was feeling rage towards a character in my dream. Other than that I take the back seat and watch it all like I'm at the movies.
As for me? I am a counselor (not licensed yet... just graduated in Dec.. and I have to collect lots of hours under supervision before I can become licensed) but I am thinking about going back to school again for a MFA so I can teach art at the college level. I think that would be the better fit for me.
I married my best friend in October (been nearly a year already) and we have 2 cats and 4 goldfish.
I enjoy reading, drawing, painting, sewing, just about everything art related. I also enjoy hiking in the woods, swimming, and running.
I'm looking forward to meeting some great people here! :)
Take care,
Jollybean (Amanda)

Don't your cats try and eat your goldfish? ;)
Welcome!!

Welcome to Dreamviews!
There's nothing wrong with being lucid and not taking control. Enjoying the dream as its agenda planned.
-
Welcome to Dreamviews! Glad to see someone else who enjoys dream plot! I always like to just run around and see what crazy thing my mind comes up with next! Good Luck in your future efforts!

ScoobyDooMoo - Nope! LOL... but our one cat Honeydew thinks that the goldfish are HER pets and when I take them out to clean the tank she wanders around meowing as if she is trying to find them. She settles down once the fish are back in the tank. She's an interesting cat. She also likes to watch Bob Ross on TV. Other than that she doesn't care for the TV.
Abra - That's good to know! I figure I have to make so many decisions during the daytime that I might as well enjoy the ride while dreaming.
KingYoshi - Thanks for the good luck wishes! Looking forward to hearing about yours and others dreams! The crazy ones are fun!!
Nice to meet you all!

Welcome to Dreamviews! Hope your stay is great!
Don't be afraid to PM any DreamGuides if you have any questions you might have, or you can browse around the forum and see what others have asked!

I too welcome you! :) :welcome:
I think DV is a pretty awesome place. Feel free to message me at any time. No, I'm not a dream guide but I may still be able to help you out if needed. Enjoy yourself and have fun!

Enjoy your stay at DreamViews
Well yeah I have a couple of gold fish myself. One died the other day actually but I just bought a beta so hopefully they hit it off. I also have 2 dogs.
So does this best friend of yours lucid dream too?
-
Slayer - Thanks for the welcome and the tip! I'll be reading more on the forum when I can!
Cloud9WannaBLucid - Thanks for the welcome! Yeah, this seems like an awesome place already! Also thanks for extending a hand and letting me know I can come to you with questions!
Lucidspark64 - Thanks! I am enjoying it here so far! Sorry to hear about the goldfish that recently died. :-( I hope your beta and the other goldfish hit it off ok too. How are they? And what kind of dogs do you have? Nope, my hubby doesn't have lucid dreams. He rarely remembers his dreams. I on the other hand have quite vivid dreams and sometimes wake up mad... my hubby just shakes his head at my dreams.
Take care all!

it seems like they're doing fine so far. when i first got my beta, they were like all shy laying at opposite sides of the tank, but now, they kind of out in the open (i'm watchin them right now).
and my 2 dogs are just, idk really just shepheards. ones brown, the others blonde, they both pretty cool.
have you tried taking salmon oil capsules before bed? they have gaven me some pretty strange dreams. i haven't got lucid from them though but it would probably be nice since some of them have been freakishly long and vivid.

Nice to have you here JollyBean. I just joined DV and share the feelings of liking this place very much already.
I'm also working with people - I'm an osteopath with great interest in the mind and their interconnections... Lovely :)

lucidspark64 - Hope the fish are well. One of mine got stuck in a tank ornament... nearly died.. but I'm nursing him back to health in his own hospital tank! :-) I've not tried taking anything before bed. I usually have a lot of vivid dreams as it is. I don't think I really want to be in control though... so I just enjoy them as they come.
insight - Good to meet you too! Sounds like your job is quite fun! I want to go back to school for a masters of fine arts so I can teach college art. I think I'm nearly done being a counselor. It takes its toll...

Well, a slightly belated welcome to you Jollybean!
Dreamviews is great (as I'm sure you've come to find out ;)). Just ask around if you need anything.
Oh, and about your goldfish...One of mine flopped out onto a cement floor (about a four-foot drop and a LONG story) and he was fine. In fact, he lived longer than the rest of my goldfish nearly a month and a half after his accident...R.I.P. Quincey...:sad2:

Welcome! Basically what everyone else said...lol

Kordan - Thanks for the welcome! I like it here, just haven't had a lot of free time to devote to it... but I hope to be able to stick my head in a bit more now. Wow that must have been one tough goldfish!! My goldfish is all better now and is happily living with his other goldfish buddies once again.
Mancon123 - Thanks for the welcome! I like your goals. I hope you get to ride an owl sometime! They are really beautiful creatures!
Lunanitidus - Thanks for the welcome. I like your name. I have a goldfish named Luna Bocca. :-)
