Alright I was suggested the idea to introduce myself and express my experiences with LD's...
Well I'm Amaru, 23 and in Costa Rica... that's about as much of personal info on myself I'm willing to give for now... not because I want to stay private, just cause there's actually not much to say about myself... Thruthbearer can back me up on that...
like I posted on a different thread I joined this forum and browsed this website because I am, since a child, obsessed with dreams... A few years ago, I was watching on Discovery channel a program on dreaming and different dream states... the topic of Lucid Dreams came up and I remember being terribly intrigued on the whole idea of controlling dreams... At that moment in my life, that obssession with dreams grew even more, however I did not take the time to investigate or read more on the subject. I remember as a little boy when I used to have nightmares how I somehow, always tried to stop what was going on that scared me and in two or three occations I could... I did experience at one time a false awakening... but at that time I did not know what that was or that I could be lucid, is until now that I'm learning all the possibilities

I self Proclaim myself as King Rat Bastard... and before I take any complaints on my recently adquired status all I can say is Thruthbearer was the one who started this ego trip... so blame it on him! ;)

Jorge Luis Borges one of the greatest writers of all time had a huge obsession with dreams and often wrote about it, he used to say when he was going to sleep: "now I'm going to lay in bed and await for a dream to pay me a visit..."
