Been gone a while...
I've been away from the forum for almost a year. I went through a bad time last year around October, and just today came back. I'm very glad this forum emails when you don't visit for a while...
Even though I've been away for a year, I've tried countless times to WILD and I just can't do it. Always fall asleep. I've been able to DILD several times since I've been gone, but no recollection now of what happened.
I was fortunate enough to have SP while having an EEG done, but didn't wake up enough to mash the button to know exactly when... :whyohwhy:
Can't wait to get back into it again! Already have my dream journal lying by my bed. Oh, and I never got around to doing RCs, so I'm really going to drill that into my brain this time around... It's SO exciting when you realize you're dreaming. :boogie:

Welcome to DV :]
Don't stop that dream journaling, it's more important than you know.
Read around, there's lots of great information. Check the tutorials especially, there's a lot in there that most newer people forget.
Don't hesitate to ask any questions you might have, enjoy your stay! :D

Thanks for the warm welcome! I tried to WILD again last night, which I do just about every night, and of course I fell asleep. I think my brain is so used to me trying to WILD, that it automatically goes to sleep or something!
Oh well... Took the day off work today, might try to get me a nap in! :D

Welcome to Dreamviews! Make sure that you aren't trying to WILD before hitting REM. This can be extremely difficult. I suggest trying to WILD during naps, or after a WBTB. Get at least 4 hours of sleep before attempting to WILD. Also, give this technique a shot: http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ad.php?t=42271 Helped me WILD in the beginning and also greatly inspired my own alteration of the technique. Good Luck!

Thanks! I'll check it out. Oh well I'm doing it wrong because I've always tried to WILD as I'm first falling asleep! DUH...
