You read correctly, folks. I have had my first lucid dream, and man oh man, what a rush! It was a MILD, and part of a long chain of dreams I remembered that night. I began looking into lucid dreaming around the 9th of September, and now that it is the 4th of October, I'm gonna call it 3 weeks until I had my first lucid. For all of those other noobs out there, just stick with it and you'll have a lucid in no time at all! Good luck!:boogie:

I don't really have a dreamjournal (you think I should start one?), but I can certainly post the original DJ file:
I did the lucid dreaming mantra last night, and I had a grand total of 2 or three dreams. The biggest event of the night, however, was MY FIRST LUCID EVER! Apparently, I was in the army and we were marching down this hill thing surrounded by wooden walls. I looked at it, realized I had been here before in my dreams, and that this must be a dream. The excitement was so much that I had a false awakening. Right after my false awakening, I hopped on my laptop, which was now apparently in the corner of my bedroom, and began to record my dream journal. There was something odd that happened, but I fail to recall what. Then I woke up.
Nothing major or exciting, but the false awakening was pretty cool. I felt the dream slipping away, and I tried to spin, which was really odd. I felt my stationary body in my bed, but it was like my subconscious was swirling about, if that makes any sense at all. At any rate, the lucid couldn't have been more than 10 seconds long...I remember trying to fly before I had my FA out of desperation, more than anything else.
Holy fucking shit, Mario...I had been picturing a race between you and I since I came here, as we have pretty close to the same join date. However, I, too, this very morning had my first lucid dream as well...I'm a little scared...

Yeah, you should definitely keep a DJ, Mario. It makes your recall a lot better, making it much easier to become lucid. And congrats, Fattoxthegreat.
Well, I do keep a dreamjournal, I just don't publish it. You really think I should? I'm gonna need a killer name for my thread, if I do. I'm open to suggestions, but not something lame like, "Mario's Dream Journal," which is kind of bland.

It can't hurt to publish your DJ. It could be inspirational/motivating to share your dreams with other people and comment on other people's dreams.

I visited my girlfriend who lives errr, 4 thousand miles away and haven't seen her in 2 months (she's the reason I got into lucid dreaming), we went to a beach. Then I flew around my school, found my dream guide, helped some DC's. Hmmm made these hot chicks in my class flash their boobs :twisted:. Played around with reality checks xD, I plugged my nose and could still breath, it was so fun lol. Hmm I also stabilized my dream, because at first it was very blurry and dark, but I gave it some brightness and sharpness. And it lasted about 10 minutes :D
Wow, it was awesome! :D I myself spend the most time transporting :?
For example:
Me (to a hot girl): Let's have sex.
DC: No, I can't! There are too many people here!
Me: OK, well then.
And then we go somewhere, I lose her twice, lose and attain lucidity back once, fight some people and then, when I finally find her, the dream ends :(

Kexo, do you stabilize first? Rubbing hands, some basic math, all of that?
Rubbing hands doesn't work for me :( most of the time I stabilize, but sometimes, when I don't see very blurry, I forget to : /
But this absolutely exact scenario happened to me only once, and the whole dream was pretty long, maybe hour or so, and the lucidity for like 15 minutes.

and about stabilizing...
if I feel I'm waking up, I just spin around and it works just fine for me. But if I want to "fix my dream" I just imagine it brighter/more vivid and it happens x)
By the way, in my third lucid dream I realized I couldn't tell if I was thinking, or speaking. Like I would think something, but I wasn't sure if I was thinking it or actually saying it (in the dream of course) has this happened to you guys?

I had mine first lucid on my second try.... But I couldn't remember most of it. So, I don't think that that counts.
