Hello, im new and i have a question. I remember this dream vividly but i wont go into the details because i just have this one question about it. I was trying to run but i couldnt.... The feeling i remember was being really heavy or something, i was really aware of what was happening but i couldnt get myself to run no matter how much i tried to will myself to do so... Suggestions or comments would be appreciated :) thanks
Sometimes this happens to me also, it usually happens when i am unstable or fading away.
Just do some stabilizing techniques(ie: rub hands, look at things, etc.) and you should be fine.
If all else fails, you could attempt a DEILD
Welcome to Dreamviews! Dream actions are weird. Everyone seems to have a problem doing something. When I first started, I couldn't fly at all. It just takes some practice. You can try to just will yourself to be able to run or you can try some different strategies. You can try to tighten your shoe laces because they are slowing you down. You could try to take your shoes off. You could try to drink some "speed juice." If normal methods don't work, get creative with it. You'd be surprised at what works. Even once you get the hang of it, you will occasionally have those dreams where control seems to be difficult. I can fly with ease now, but every now and then I will have a dream where I struggle to fly. Just keep working at it, and you will be fine! Good Luck!
I have a similar problem.
When I'm running, or flying, my body always veers off to the right.
I can't control it. I just suddenly turn unexpectedly. It's very annoying.
I created a monster type thing once in a LD, and got sort of scared. I started to run, but only went in circles, no matter how I tried! So I forced myself to wake up. I'm so stupid!!!! >=[
