"Mind Control" by Jose Silva.
Has anyone heard of/read this?
I've heard its pretty cool and has to do with controlling your mind during alpha wave activity. Im guessing its closer to Yoga than Lucid Dreaming but they DO seem similar in that they can both help you improve your waking life if used correctly.
What do you guys think? worth the read? Im currently reading ETWOLD. Great book, so yeah. Just asking you all for your opinion :)

Sorry to say, I haven't heard of the book. I do know that there are people on DV who are very interested in things like dream yoga. Personally, I believe that there is a lot to dream yoga, especially the way it stresses a sort of constant awareness/mindfulness to acheive lucidity. :)
I haven't heard of the book either, but may definitely be interested.
I do pretty regular runs to Chapters to pick up a few books every so often. I get books faster than I can read them, literally. I'll look it up next time I'm out :)

My psychology professor told me about it, so i think i'll just go ahead and buy it and see, assuming its pretty cheap xD

I never read the book but I think I have an idea of what you are talking about. Some people claim that they can put themselves into these low brainwave states and subconsciously learn stuff. I don't know how it works or how easy this can be done.
