Some problems with my LD
Hello, I am a new lucid dreamer. I have tried the Wild technique but failed numerous amount of times.
Instead I have settled with the DILD technique which is a lot easier.
The thing is though when I realize I am in a Lucid dream and I try to fly I can't. I just can't.
I recently had a Lucid Dream this morning and when trying to fly, I didn't leave the ground.
I just kept jumping.... and fell back to the ground slower than you would in real life
There is another occasion where I actually felt pain in my dream. See, I tried pinching myself there to confirm whether I was dreaming or not and I actually felt a sharp pain on my arm inside the dream state.
And finally, a third problem is that my dreams aren't vivid and long like I want them to be. They are short and I can't really move around freely like I want to because the dream starts to fade back into reality and everything once I go and try to do something.
Anyone can shed some light on this.

For your first question, all you need to know will be here
For your third, keep a dream journal if you do not have one already. Your dreams are long and vivid, it's just that you cannot remember them. Increase your recall by writing down everything you remember from your dreams.
Welcome to DV :)

If you want to increase lucidity you can rub your hands together, spin around, and touch everything in the dreamworld.

For the second: pinching yourself is not a reliable reality check, as you can feel it your dream too.
