Hello everybody
Hi there people I'm new here. I am a person who lives in Sydney, Australia. I have had a few lucid dreams. The first couple where right after watching Waking Life a few months ago, and they were really intense and I remember them well. I remember the second LD I had (after looking them up on Wikipedia) I was in a garden supply store when I became lucid and I started knocking over all the plants screaming "increase lucidity!" I was so worried that I was actually just lying in bed screaming. :?
Then I didn't have any again until a couple of nights ago, but I woke up as soon as I realized it was a dream. I was so stoked that I immediately tried to start flying away from whatever it was that was chasing me and that made me wake up.
I was a bit disappointed and remembered how interesting my previous lucid dreams were so I searched the webs and found this place and I was all like 'sweet.'

Welcome to Dreamviews! The main problem beginners have after entering a LD, is getting too emotional (mostly getting too excited). Next time you achieve lucidity, remember to remain as calm as possible. Get into the "veteran" mindset and act as if you are a pro. Awesome avatar btw. Back to the Future = Classic! Good Luck in your future efforts!

Heeey! I'm just about two weeks old myself, but welcome! I've also had just a few LDs, we've got that in common...!
Well, instead of just screaming "I WANT TO KEEP LUCID!", you should rub your hands together and against other things. The dream might also get blurry (if you don't do anything at this point, you will most likley wake up or forget you're lucid), then you must spin around. Nothing extraordinary, just soun around.
Welcome!
