A big hi to all at DV
I only just joined today, but I have been lurking around for quite a while and reading the tutorials, and this place seems to be friendly. I've only had one lucid dream since finding this site a month ago, it was on boxing day morning. I wonder if the Christmas dinner I had induced those dreams, because the other non-lucid dreams were quite vivid, one of them involved being threatened with a knife and the other involving bottles being thrown towards me.
In the lucid dream I had, I was walking through what looked like a canyon with a few people. I looked up at the sky, and I saw an eclipse of some kind. I thought 'Hey, something's not quite right here'. At this point I didn't know I was dreaming. I walked on a bit further and looked up at the sky again. This time I saw planets. I then thought 'This isn't a real sky, it's a dream sky! I immediately got excited and started flying. Everything looked quite like a videogame. I think I landed in the sea, and soon after, woke up. I didn't do much, but it felt damn good being lucid for the first time.
A few more details about myself:

Hey there, David! I'm glad that you joined us and it's great that you're getting some success and don't be discouraged if it takes time. I'm still working on it, too. But yah, if you have any questions feel free to ask or PM myself, the other DGs, or any friendly people you find during your stay. See you around!
Sweet Lucid Dreams
