Thread: new member just starting out... kind of lol

Hey everyone I've been scouring DV and watching videos on youtube for the past 3 days now and I decided to actually make a username and start posting.

I remember 5 years ago, in 8th grade, I stumbled upon LD'ing and it fascinated me. I started keeping a dream journal and within a week had my first LD. I dreamt I woke up in my bed; I did a RC and realized I was dreaming. I tried to fly but couldn't do it, so I jumped out my window and started flying almost as I hit the ground. I decided to fly over to a girls house I liked at the time, but got sidetracked as I saw some friends skateboarding at a skatepark and lost lucidity only to regain it as i returned to my house and jumped up to my second floor and went to bed.

I soon kind of drifted away from it and stopped keeping my dream journal and haven't had a LD since. Now I have stumbled back upon it, and being 19 years old and more mature, I am more serious about it.

I started a dream journal 2 nights ago and recalled 2 dreams, and recalled 4 last night, although each of the nights I know I had another dream, I just couldn't recall. I'm really looking forward to my first LD endeavor now that i've started again, and many more after that. I have many goals I'd like to accomplish and hopefully find out some more things about myself along the road.
