Really Interested! I'm NEW with some Q's! =D

Hey guys, a friend pointed me to these forums.

Basically, I really want to lucid dream.

I started a dream journal yesterday, and I went to bed at 1am. I set my alarm and I woke up at 5am, and I listened to binaural beats for an hour, whilst I was researching information about lucid dreaming. I then went back to bed at 6am, and all along I was thinking "I'm going to have a lucid dream". I felt myself in my room but that was most probably just a dream and I ended up having a sleep paralysis.

Basically, have you guys got any tips?

      Also, I got some questions.

Is Lucid Dreaming incredibly real. Like I could go outside now at night time and stand in a park, and in comparison lucid dreaming would be very realistic?

Also, can I do anything in a lucid dream, like for example, make cheryl cole appear and (you know )?

I'm really interested in all this, thanks.

Welcome to DV It sounds like you're already off to a good start.

In answer to both your questions, Yes, but it depends on a few things. Learning to stabilize and also to really focus on the details will help keep your dreams very realistic, and working on dream control will help you summon whoever you want to fuck in your dreams.

Best way to do this is to just read and think and practice as much as you can during the day, imo.

Yeah, I've been doing a LOT of research

Every hour, I'm pinching myself and asking myself "Am I dreaming"

I just want to experience it so bad, I've experienced HORRIFIC sleep paralysis, yes I saw the "old hag", her face was infront of me moving to side to side, and out of the walls all I could hear in a high demonic voice was "AM HUR" (im here?) It only lasted a couple of seconds but felt like minutes :/

Pinching is a terrible reality check, you can feel pain in dreams. I recommend finding a different one, and I personally always do three in case one doesn't work.

Yeah heres the tutorial on reality checks http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ead.php?t=4470

my favorite reality check is plugging my nose and trying to breathe in. I also afree with shift, you can most definitely feel pain in dreams so pinching yourself doesnt work at all.

And yes dreams can be extremely realistic. If you become stable and aware enough it could seem even more real that actual reality. This is what makes lucid dreams so sought after. You can do anything you want and it is just as realistic as reality.
