Hm, so just to update.. the minute I become lucid I wake up immediately. I tell myself 'I'm dreaming' and the next minute I'm looking up at my ceiling shaking my head. :(

Hi, I'm Nik and I'm new as well!
24 year old guy reporting in from Stockholm, Sweden.
1. Haven't had that many lucid dreams (yet), but a couple of weeks ago I had one in which I was walking over a bridge leading to the small suburb in which I was raised. Suddenly I realized I was dreaming, and celebrated this fact by punching an old lady walking by in the face (no, I'm not usually a violent person :P). After that I jumped of the bridge and started flying, but then my brain caught on and immediatly threw me out of that dream and into another one, in which I was waking up in a wierd place believing I was no longer asleep... That happens to me alot.
2. I wish to learn stuff about myself and maybe access some repressed memories, if there are any.
3. Favourite band, tough one.. But I think I'm gonna have to go with Wire, the one band I can't seem to grow tired of.
My favourite food is probably anything grandma makes, as long as it's vegetarian!

To answer thine questions:
1. I've only had one lucid dream, and it wasn't that crazy. I haven't really been trying lately, but I've been interested in the subject for about a year and love reading about others' experiences.
2. My favorite bands are: Symphony X, Keep of Kalessin, Kamelot, Torchbearer, Mayhem, Emperor, Ayreon, Skeletonwitch, Devin Townsend, Arch Enemy, and a bunch more. I listen to A LOT of music (I am a musician, after all), so it's hard for me to pick favorites. :) Oh, and favorite foods...that would probably have to be Mexican and Chinese. Although I also love Italian and Greek.
