      Question Dream Recall (Length)

      Hi All,

I typically tend to remember almost all of my dreams pretty easily, however, they seem very short, I'm not sure if i'm just not as detailed with what I recall, or if I just don't recall prior to maybe 5-7 minutes (From end of dream).

I know that dreaming there is no "clock" when dreaming, but if you guys could guess, how long (time-wise) can you typically recall from a dream?

      Thanks!

It's quite hard to tell because when I'm dreaming it feels long and drawn out, but when I wake up and recall the dream it feels very sped up (if that makes sense).

EDIT: It may just because we are experiencing blank spots of memory from the dream, but we may find that we remember them to be long after more practice.

What exactly do you mean by timeskips?

Usually my dreams are long and detailed. If I wanted, I could write a few pages about each of them. However, I also usually remember only one dream, so it's possible that my brain is running several different dreams together in my memory.

Just had one of those 'time jumps' last night. What sucks is that it happened, and I thought, "Woah, a bunch of time just skipped!" But I didn't realize I was dreaming... D:
