Had a wierd dream...
First of all, Hi!:) I'm new member at DV, thou I've been reading posts and tutorials for about 1-2months, and had a couple of LD's....
But yesterday I had a really weird LD... What was the dream about doesn't really matter so I won't bother writing it, but after ~5 minutes since I've become lucid I saw a strange scene. First every object around me (I was in my room back then) started floating, and everything around me started to get black and blurry. Then, I thought that my dream was fading and ending but it didn't... All around me just got all black and that's it... I waited for some time, and then tried to stabilize and change scene by spinning. After that I, found my self in a really nice valey, and my mom woke me up after that...... So, anyone saw this before? :)
Thanks for reading! :)

Hi Chookie! Welcome to Dreamviews. And congrats on your lucid dreams! :D
It does sound like your dream was beginning to become unstable as you started to wake up. I've had my vision get blurry or black out in lucids before, and it is kind of frustrating but if you stick with it, you can usually keep the dream going. You did good being patient and trying spinning. Another thing that works for me is rubbing my hands or touching objects in the dream. ;)

I agree with Naiya. It seems that your dream was destablising, but you weren't awake just yet. You did good by spinning, and your dream showed that by restarting. Congrats :boogie:!

At the end of most of my dreams it goes all black. This usually makes me lucid, but only for about a second. Then I wake up. If it goes black and stays that way for a while for you, that could potentially be an effective way to become lucid. Just do what Naiya said and spin or rub your hands together.
Oh, and welcome to DV :)

Thanks guys, I'll try rubbing hands next time too :)
And yeah does yelling for something really helps? I mean if you try to yell something like "I want my friend here" or something, could he just spawn there? That stuff never really worked for me... (Although yelling for clarity helps, but that's something else :D ) Sorry for off topic :P

Yeah, you can do that. For example, when your dream vision gets blurry, you can try shouting "clarity now!" That one is classic. ;)

Heh, okay I'll try that too, Big Thanks too all for help! :)

Well i have never had that before. sounds interesting.

For me, rubbing my hands together seems to stop the dream from fading out, but what really brings it back in shape is interacting with something, like touching an object :)
