reminiscing on a dream

this was just an experiment, that worked for me one night, i just remember what happened and needed to tell someone. i just had another episode where i woke up conscious and was unable to move my body because i naturally do it when i am conscious during lighter sleep. after trying to move around a lot, i began to panic as i always do. but then out of nowhere, i decided that i would no long resist a certain feeling in the back of my head that something was carrying me up. after that whether i was sinking into my bed for floating up, the setting i imagined myself in (my bedroom) suddenly changed and began to fall into a dream where i was flying around. haha. again, this is when i woke up panicking because i could not move a muscle. i just relaxd and let everything happen. it was a nightmare turned into a really fun experience i woke up with a great feeling after overcoming something that troubled me for years. :banana:

Thanks for sharing! I'll have to try that because I always get so scared and I strain to move or scream. I'd rather just turn it into a good dream! I'll try to relax and hope it works for me, too.

So you can use this unsettling experience to your advantage to help you dream.

That's what I did, you just have to realize that you are awake but cannot move at all. Even though I was under this state I felt myself resisting against something (a feeling of motion), that was when panic kicked in. If you could just stay calm and think very slowly things get..... :)
