Another newcomer
Hello,
I'm just a 14 years old algerian working at school. I got interested in dreams in general during summer vacation, and I found this great site and started my dream journal just 3 days ago.
I'm trying to make RCing a habit (I never think about it when I'm at school :P ), but I have a question :
when I'm going to have DILD everyday, will I have to always RC in my waking life or is it just going to be "a dream habit"?
Thanks for taking time to read :D

First of all, :welcome: to Dreamviews! Whish you a very good time here :)
To answer your question, DILDing (Doing RC's over the day and making them a habit) is just one of many induction techniques used to have lucid dreams.
It is especially good for beginners to explore lucid dreams a bit and you don't have to do much for it, but what you have to do is during the day.
There are a lot techniques that focus only on the night, like WILD or WBTB.
I think when you have lucid dreams on a regular basis, you might not need RC's so much any more.
But I think every lucid dream is worth doing some RC's in the day ;)
Whish you a good time on Dreamviews and good luck with your RC's
Cheers

Welcome to DreamViews, we hope you enjoy your stay.
To answer your question, I think that in order to have regular DILDs, you'll not just have to do regular RCs, but you should get into the habit of questioning your surroundings. See something strange? RC! Why is that woman wearing that dress? RC! In this way, you are less likely to take the dream world for granted. You should also not stop just because you begin to do it every day. Like working out, the less you do it the weaker you become.
Also, if you need some ideas for RCs, if you can locate our member shift, you'll find a "RC a Day" link that can prove to be good fun. Good luck and happy lucids.
All the best,
