Hey still havent had a lucid dream :( not too worried I only started 2 days ago hahaha so not surprised. Was just wondering about dream guides, they sound so interesting! Will I be able to find mine when I have a lucid dream or might it take a while?
Also just wondering, say you were having a realy cool exciting LD. Wouldnt you be more likely to wake up because its so exciting?

The first lucid experience is different for everyone, but the general trend is that the first few suck and usually result in premature awakening. Summoning a dream guide is another thing that varies between people; some have no problem calling up their DG and confirming them, while others struggle greatly.
In short, I would say that you probably won't discover your DG in your first lucid, but if you keep with it, you should be able to find them somewhat quickly. :) Good luck.
Cool! Im realy excited to see what he/she looks like. Even If I can induce being lucid and prematurely wake up i'll be happy :D thats happened to me a few times over my life and now I will be expecting it so hopefully I will be able to keep calm and not wake up
You can also "practice" during the day. Randomly pretend that you just realized you're dreaming, and convince yourself that it's true the best you can. What do you do? Do you freak out, panic, spin, jump right in, or do you chill and stabilize?
Two days, eh? You've got a couple weeks of practice to go before you induce your first (on average, that's how long it takes).
Potentially, you could find your dream guide in your very next dream, whether you're lucid or not. It's all about perception, and timing.
