Rookie Mistake.
Hello guys,
I'm not completly new here, but for the forums i guess i am. i had my first lucid dream in a long time last night, it was beautiful. Reality checked and realized i had six fingers on my right hand. I then rubbed my hands and spun to get some stability. I immediatly got over excited and started running around like an idiot. I had nothing planned for the dream at all. I tried to fly, but failed at it. I wasn't ready to have the dream and had nothing in my mind i wanted to try. All in all, it was a good lucid, with decent vividness.
Anyway, what are some favorite things you guys like to do when in a lucid? I need some ideas so i dont make the same mistake twice.

I'd have to say my favorite thing to do in a lucid dream is to summon [a certain group of recurring DC I have]. It's fun for me to just hang out with them, and there's never a dull moment. Another thing I like doing is transforming into animals, wolves in particular. If you are having trouble figuring out what to do in a LD, though, what I would recommend is figuring out what you want to do while awake and memorize it (visualize it if you think it will help you). If you know what you want to do well enough that it becomes a "when I say 'lucid' you say '[goal]'" kind of reaction, you'll never forget once you go lucid.
