False awakening?
I have not had a lucid dream yet but have been trying for a while. I usually recall about one dream per night. I started trying to go lucid by having my phone vibrate every hour to remind me during the day to do reality checks and hopefully create a dream sign at night by sleeping with it in my pocket. Last night my phone vibrated and I did a reality check by looking at the clock on my nightstand. I thought it said something like 1:15 an then i looked away and then back and It read 3:25 or something but definitely not one something. I started thinking I was dreaming and did more reality checks by looking away and back and it never changed again but I was almost certain it changed the first time. It was very subtle, nothng was ever fuzzy or weird the digits just changed however I felt groggy because I just "woke up". Nothing else was differen about the scene, it was in my room at night in by bed and I fully woke and nothing else changed. Is it possible this was a false awakening or did I most likely just misread the clock? Any other suggestions for attaining lucidity..I never get past the moving lines with a WILD. Thanks.

:welcome: to DreamViews,
Maybe you just woke at 1:15, then fell asleep for 2 hours without noticing? That has happened to me before.
If you haven't already, be sure to check out the tutorial section for some good starting advice.:

My favorite method is Wake Back To Bed. It is described in this tutorial:

I don't think I fell asleep because it seemed like the digits changed as I looked at it, like as I started to look away it changed, but who knows! Thanks for the words though.
