Interesting Way to Levitate
I'm not experience with Lucid Dreaming at all, only had a few pretty non-vivid ones so far but last night I had another and it was the most vivid I've had so far (although relatively short). I actually became lucid by thinking very logically in my dream which is very odd since usually in dreams I'm just completely oblivious. I woke up in my dream, went to the window and it was night outside and the digital clock said it was 12. I knew it couldn't be 12am because I went to bed at 2am, and it couldn't be 12pm because it was still night time - so I do a RC and now we're Lucid.
Anyway to the point, as any newbie does the first thing I thought of was flying so I jumped on top of my roof parkour style and tried to propel myself into the air which didn't work. I settled for jumping through walls for a little while (which I found very entertaining for some reason) then I decided to give the flying thing another crack.
I'd just recently watched Chris Angel do his levitation trick: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d0wCeYUg38k so I figured I'd try doing it that way. I crossed my right foot behind my left and started pushing up with my feet until I was on tip-toes and gestured upwards with my arms (as in the video) and levitated a good 30ft in the air... then I woke up :roll:
Not sure if this will help anyone but it worked for me so I figured it was worth mentioning.
