Hey :)
Hi everyone!
I'm new here, I found this site by google. I find the concept of lucid dreaming to be rather interesting, although I have never had one in the past that I can remember. I'm trying to work on my dream recall, and beginning to keep a journal, as well has getting into the habit of doing RCs during the day. Hopefully, I will have a LD in the near future.

Hello! :)
I am impressed that you have jumped right in to keeping a journal, RCing in the day, and working on recall. Clearly you are motivated to get a lucid dream. And you will, of course.
On another note, Google is so great isn't it? :P

Yeah, I am motivated :) And google is great!
So, for a complete beginner, what is the fastest and easiest method of having a LD? WILD or DILD?
-
Most people start out with DILD, which is probably the easiest for a beginner. But I find some people respond better to WILD. Really, you need to find whatever works for you. I recommend taking a look at all the tutorials and find what works for you. Also take a look at reverse blinking.

Welcome twistor!
You seem to be on the right course, just keep up the reality checks and keep the dream journal updated daily and your first Lucid Dream will come within no time. Also, a well versed Lucid Dreaming member here (Shift) has a short quiz that may be able to help you to find what's best for you, i would advise contacting her for the link.
@Loaf: google is like an electronic crystal ball lol
