Hi there! I'm an insomniac too, months before. I suggest you minimize drinking sleeping pills. Your body might get dependent on it and you'll not be able to go to sleep without them. Months back, what I usually do is read a book, my favorite ones until I get so tired. I also tried llistening to some binaural beats that induces sleep.
You can find some here:

Hope it helps! :)
Thanks, I'll check it out.
There good fore going to sleep but not for wilding.
I use sleeping pills nearly every night to sleep. I got to the point where I can't sleep without them (I guess that would be called an addiction ). I literally will stay up for 30+ hours at a time w/o them. Whats funny though, is I can easily sleep 20+ hours when I want to (after I've fallen asleep with the pills)....go figure. It doesn't effect my recall or vividness for better or for worse. Of course, my body has gotten to the point where they are used to them, so I may not be the best source. I'm sure, like anything else, they effect everyone differently. Just make sure you don't start using them excessively or you will end up dependent on them (like yours truly).
No problem Tunorz.
Well like snumbers said, the mp3 I suggested above is only a good aid for sleeping, not for LDing.
If you want mp3's that can aid you in LDing, check this out:

I suggest you use these "Subliminal Audio" when you conquered your insomnia already. You can listen to them before sleeping, or during WBTB.
