Spinning to remain in dream? What was your spinning like?

So today I had my first lucid dream in months, my third ever, and my first using actual methods to remain in the dream.

I was starting to leave the dream shortly after I became Lucid (it was very fuzzy) so I told myself Spin! It took me to this wall of images, the only way to describe it is like the Wii homescreen with tons of channels, and it just started flying past tons of settings and picked one out for me. I did it a second time as that scene was becoming hazy, and it did the same thing.

What I want to know is, what is your "spinning" like? Is it strange to have a wall of dream scenes?

      That was interesting....

My spinning is just like real life spinning with the exception that I do not become dizzy.

      This sounds familiar...

Me too! My vision even blurs a little like when I spin IRL.
Rubbing your hands works wonders. Can't remember where I found that tip... it was from someone on this forum.

Thanks! I'll have to try the hand-rubbing next time! Of course that's assuming I can remember it at such a crazy time as a DILD ^.^

Well, during my lucids I was sure I would forget everything important. But in fact I could only remember my goals and my techniques. Although that as with WILD.

For me, that's one of two things that happens, and I too see blurs like IRL. The other thing that happens is that the dream scene fades but I still feel my dream body. Eventually, just when the dream is about to fade completely, I lose my balance and fall, which jerks me back into the dream in full, usually far clearer than it was before.
