Other newbie(s) to learn with?

Hey y'all!
I'm Katrisa, and I'm spanking new! (Well, that was a bit redundant in this thread, but I'm trying!) I want to try LDing, but I know, before I'm fully committed, I might completely stop for lack of motivation. So, I'm looking for somebody else who's new to maybe learn alongside. I think it'll help to know what other people in with my same (incredibly low) level of expertise!
So, if you don't think I'm insane for wanting to do this, just reply or send me a message.

I've got a (physical) journal that I'm starting with today.

Ughh, My handrighting is so horible in english. I wouldent be able to read it.

What's your first language?

Russian, I was born in the US, But i learned russian from my parents when i was smaller. So now my hand likes to wright in wierd ways.

Hello, and welcome to the forum. I'm somewhat of a newbie. Only had one LD until last night when I managed to have two in one night. It was incredible. I just want to say that just writing down your dreams is really interesting, but unless you identify recurring events/situations (A.K.A. Themes) then you won't really benefit from the journal. Or at least that is my experience. Also, reality checks are very important. They are hard for me to remember to do, so I started doing them whenever I do my "nervous habit" (biting the inside of my mouth). Hope that helps somewhat, and good luck with the LDs! (also, be patient....it took me months before I had my first one)

Id be pumped to join a few newbies, myself have only been trying to LD for a few weeks so im thinking it would be a real help to have other less experienced members to interact with. I know quite a bit about LD's and dreams/sleep in general as iv gone on a bit of a research tangent in the last month or so. Anyway...count me in.

I think thats a rad idea Katrisa, i have been having some pretty sweet dreams lately, so we should definitely start one.

Well anyways, about the thread you made, the newbie group dj, I suggest we could use the format of DreamJournal 2.5. Check it out here.

That's an archiving program, where you can record your dreams. It'll also format your posts depending on the type of dream.

i only started yesterday and i am so interested in having LDs
ive read most of the tutorials and im going to start my own dream journal nows

id love to join and share my experiences with other ''newbies'' xD
