Hey, new member
Hi, just wanted to introduce myself..
I had basically only heard about lucid dreaming from a book before visiting this website (though I had experienced it). I've read through some stuff now, and am very motivated to learn to control my dreams. I have as far as i can remember only experienced lucid dreaming like twice, and want to learn lucid dreaming just to have fun.
In the only lucid dream that i remember more or less clearly i was mostly having fun. Can't remember what made me realize i was dreaming, but when i did, i "spawned" my favourite friends and made myself fly all around the place (pretty dreamy and unrealitstic allright).
Anyhow, after reading on this site about dream awareness I realize that I have had dreams where I have been aware that i was dreaming, however i was not in control of those dreams. (i guess it's a start).
Also I did read the tutorial on how to fight nightmares with lucid dreaming, and I noticed... "Hey! I've done this before!".
In that dream i was being chased by flying dinosaurs, and no matter where i fled, they kept finding me. (There were a masacre near the shopping mall). Anyway I hid in the chirch, but they came after me still. So cornered inside the chirch I closed my eyes (I think i knew i was dreaming) and simply thought very hard on how i wanted the dinosaurs to be gone.
Next to me a remote control appeared (I had seen the movie "click") I pushed "pause" and all the dinosaurs froze.. Then i clicked the standby button, and they were gone!
Quite a bit of dream recalling for a introduction, but it will have to do:cheeky:
I hope that with my previous "experience", and with some of these methods, i will be able to have lucid dreams mostly at will.

Hey, welcome to the forum!
That's really cool that you've naturally had lucid dreams before!
Have you read any of the tutorials on this site about lucid dream induction techniques? I'd really recommend them, along with keeping a dream journal! Dream journals are really helpful and will strengthen your ability to clearly recall your dreams over time.
Here are some tutorials you may want to check out:
