New here

Hello all. I'm new to this site, but am on a mission of sorts. I've been experiencing lucid dreams for as long as I can remember and have never thought them anything more than a fun occurrence. In the past few years though in my dreams, whether lucid or not I've been attracted to finding basements and attics. I always feel like there is something..... profound to be found in these locations while dreaming. I may just be making an ass of myself, I'm aware of that, but I need to know if I'm the only one or if there really is something to this. Please let me know what you think. Once again at the risk of making an ass of myself, when all of you out there go lucid, depending on your level of control, what do you do with that time. Personally I started just trying to do things like fly or control my surroundings, but in the last few years I've began paying attention to where my sub-conscience has place me and really observed my surroundings. Everything from mirrors to pictures on the walls or what's outside a window. It's amazing what you can see. Any responses are appreciated, even if it's just to tell me that I've successfully made an ass of myself.

I've never heard of anyone attracted to finding basements and attics though. I'm assuming (seeing as you've obviously had a lot of lucid dreams) that you've been to attics and basements while lucid dreaming? What have you found?

I'm still relatively new to Lucid dreaming so I'm still at the stage where I like to explore, interact with DC's, try cool stuff etc, but I think I'll also like to explore my mind/subconscious when I become more proficient.

Anyway, as for my dreams I usually just act on impulse and do the first thing that comes to mind. Though I feel as though my dreams are engineering themselves in a way to get me to do certain things. Sometimes I wonder about the level of control we really have. Or at least that I have.

For example, once I was walking the empty street outside my home and became Lucid. I looked around in excitement and then I saw the moon, though its not like I could miss it. It was huge, and kinda just there. I just decided I wanted to jump to it, and I did. Just that impulse, that situation. That just felt like what I should do, and so I did.

It was incredibly fun though :D

To answer your question Sol I've been in several of both basements and attics while lucid. Sometimes I find nothing others I find odd things like photo albums or objects that have are out of place. Other times I'll find a hidden door in an attic that or a tunnel under the floor in the basement. These always lead to a beach surronded by woods.

Even when I don't find anything in these two locations I always feel like there is something there.
