Got an tips?...
Hey, am new to the site and lucid dreaming started like yesterday, been doing alot of RChecks, and such, i got a dream jornual. I try to tell my slef everynight before i go to bed, am going to have a lucid dream, but, when i do rc during the day, does it slip into my dreams? Or do, you have to ask yourself in your dream, I HAVE NO CONTROL over my dreams, its like am watching a movie, you can't control nothing what so ever. So i guess you get to the habit of checking your hands all day, and it slips in your dreams? Like the other night, i had a dream (I wrote dream on my ipod in real life) and i was in the car, and some guy asked my why i wrote ''dream'' on my ipod. Could that haved lead to a lucid dream?...Again, i have no control over my dreams, NO CONTROL. So please help a brother out?

:welcome:
My first bit of advice is to not force it. If anything you'll get adverse effects that way. You already have a journal and you're already doing regular RCs. This is good as your RCs should eventually slip into you dreams. As for that dream you had, yes, that very well could've turned into a Lucid Dream! :D You off to a great start so far if you're already seeing things related to dreaming in you dreams.
Also, just know that in order to control you dreams, you have to be aware you're dreaming. That's the definition of Lucid Dreaming: to be aware of the dream state. Control will come later. :)

Hey, welcome to DV! :D
Snowy pretty much covered all the advice I can think to give you. Just be patient, and you'll get it eventually.

Snowy nailed it. Being lucid and controlling your dreams are very different. Sometimes it's more fun to actually go with the flow, and it's easier too. Just go with what the dream is giving you.
