Question 1st time 'trying' it out, what is this dream classified as?

Alright, so last night I tried to invoke a lucid dream. I've experienced a false awakening before, so I know somewhat what it's like, but here's what happened. I used KingYoshi's technique (found here: http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ght=Yoshi+WILD ) for WILDing. As for the dream...

I am dreaming about a top view sort of a screen, like looking at a videogame and being just inside the screen. The game is 8-bit Thomas the Train-esque. No idea WHY it was Thomas the Train, save for the fact that the only books I had handy were directed generally at three and four year olds. Anyway, I am controlling the 'main character' train. I'm white, with a neon orange, a neon yellow, and a green cow and a boxcar. I'm trying to make some sort of delivery and everyone is saying that I should stop here or so for the night. I don't, everyone thinks I'm an idiot, and I keep going. Now we're going through a one way forest, and I'm behind the train's engine. (It looks very Legend of Zelda Spirit Tracks-y, graphics wise) We hear a whistle and I'm back to the top view as my train guns its engines and gets to a safe spot in a clearing just as another train comes by and slams into my cows and boxcar, scattering them. Somehow I'm off the tracks and tipped over, so I get the train back up and hook the boxcar up, abandoning the tipped cows. For some reason it's suddenly dangerous and everyone is afraid, including me. ( I wasn't thinking about doing any kind of RC, just that it was kinda scary) So we get going and now I'm driving the train, and I slowly start gaining speed. We 'shoom' back into the forest. a couple of milliseconds later, we shoot off of a cliff and the train is instantly gone. Here's where I think the lucid kicked in. I instantly realized I was dreaming, but here I was, shooing at a house at 200 something miles an hour (like being thrown face-first or shot out of a cannon). I don't remember if I was screaming, but I remember telling myself in my brain something like 'Stopstopstopstopstopstopohshizzthisisgonnahurtbut I'mdreamingitcan't' So about 100 feet away from the house/barn thing, my body instantly stops sideways in midair. I hang there for around a second, and then I wake up, fully tense and expecting to be falling to my death. It was mind-blowingly freaky, and 4:30 in the morning. I dashed out to get a piece of paper to write this down and go back to sleep, which I couldn't do until 5. I didn't try any kind of technique, and I had no dreams until it was time to start my day. So, what do you think? Did I grasp some Lucid ability, or is this just crazy.

You realized you were dreaming, therefore you had a lucid dream.

So you had your first lucid dream, congratulations! When you start to have more lucid dreams and on a more regular basis, you will find it easier to control your dreams.

Yup, it was a lucid, a DILD, and one induced due to fear I guess? Especially since you were waiting to fall to death <.<
      Anyway, welcome to DV!
