Let the Dreams Begin
Ciao, y'all. I've checked out this site before to see if anyone had any dreams that were anything like mine, or if it's just me. I finally decided today to create an account after having one craaaaaaaaazy freakin' dream last night involving mermaids and flooded parking garages and various other nonsense.
So here I am, at about 1 am, with classes to go to tomorrow, posting here. The fact that it's 1 am and I'm tired is probably why I began this post by saying "Ciao, y'all," but hey. Why not.
So I'll be around, I'll probably check in tomorrow with either another crazy new dream or something from my magical vault of old dreams I've kept in mind.
Oh, I also intend to start making art that depicts some of my weirdest dreams. (you know, when I have time. And money. and stuff.) Cause seriously, if there's an Italy/Hawaii hybrid in my mind, I need to put it on paper. Palm trees and the Colloseum. Sweet deal. I also feel I need to depict what a half-human half-frog looks like for my friends up by the Chesapeake Bay. That was one crazy dream. If one of them creatures is chillin' in the water, do yourself a favor and don't jump in. You will not escape. You will become food. (My dream self can be such a moron sometimes. )
But yeah, this is me, and this is probably excessive for an introduction, but it's one in the morning, I need to sleep, and unneccessary babbling runs in the family.

Welcome to Dream Views! It's always fun reading about extremely crazy dreams in others dream journals. Art is a good way to express your dreams too. Some famous authors started out by writing their dream onto a piece of paper, not even knowing that they would soon be famous for just simply writing their dream down and adding depth to it.

Thanks! :) I'd love to do that. Only less with stories, more with songs. :)

:welcome:
Yeah, sometimes dreams are just so insane that they're worth remembering, you should journal those :)
Using your dreams for art is a great idea, it's what most surrealist painters do. Salvidor Dali was a well known lucid dreamer.

Mhm. I have a journal started called "Welcome to My Mind" over in the Dream Journals forum.
Dali was one of my inspirations in my junior/senior year of art school. My style is kinda surreal like his work, then with the bright colors of Janet Fish. (who I chose for my "Like an Artist" assignment. She paints colorful glass and flowers and such.)
