ALMOST did it...
I almost did it, i kinda quited this lucid dreaming but am gonna start again, some shit has been going on at school, which kept me from doing it...But anyways, about 5 days ago, while i was in houston, away from my hometown (awaken life), i dreamt that i looked at my hands and realized i was dreaming, then just woke up, which kinda sucks, couldn't really control the dream though. my hands were like all werid and deformed lol. But, wasn't even trying to lucid dream that day though. Does this mean its gonna be easy for me to lucid dream, rember i been practicing this for only like 4 days at its most.

If you're already subconsciously doing Reality Checks in your dreams and noticing that you're lucid then i'd definitely say it'll be easier for you :)
Just keep at it and don't give up, even if you awake from a near lucid dream and it's super discouraging. Happens to us all at one point or another :/

The fact that you started thinking about it again might've triggered something. Its not unusual for people to take a break, stop thinking about it and only then start to have lucid dreams.
Keep up on the reality checks and dream journaling and you should be good :)

It's rare for you to control your first Lucid Dream. Well...at least from what I've heard and experienced. Because you had a Lucid Dream, I would say that it could possibly become easier for you to Lucid Dream but you need to prepare yourself to have one. Also, reality checks are important in dreams. Reality checks help control your dreams.

New places often trigger lucid dreams. I've had many lucid dreams on holiday or when visiting someone. Not sure why, would be an interesting study.

I also almost had my first LD last night. I would have (I was in the process of failing a reality check), except that I was forcefully woken up. I was pissed. (I still am)
