Second lucid - question
I just had my second lucid dream last morning. Or at least I think it could be considered a lucid dream.
I was in some library, with lots of floors. I was just walking up the stairs, going from floor to floor, and then I just realize I'm dreaming. (Like the first one I had, the feeling just came to me, didn't do a RC) I stop, throw some books on the ground, then keep going up the stairs. I figured I might aswell do a RC, to see what happens, since I didn't have a chance to perform one in my first LD. I started raising my hands up, and as soon as I start doing that, the whole dream just fades suddenly. I didn't even get to see my arms, lol.
Anyway, is this something common? It got me thinking, and I realized I don't remember *ever* seeing my hands in dreams. But then again, most of my dreams are long forgotten lol.

I can see my hands in a dream, and I'm sure you will be able to too next time you try. It's quite common for lucid dreams to fade quickly for beginners. It happens to me too after 20 or so lucid dreams. Tell us how it goes next time.

Oh yeah. Like Hot choco stated, it is common for lucids to fade quickly every now and then (especially for beginners). Next time you become lucid, I suggest you perform some stabilization techniques (even if the dream seems stabile already). It can help prolong your lucids and provide a greater experience. Just keep practicing and you will gradually learn (naturally) how to stay within the dream and prolong them. Good luck to you!
