Hallo, from Mortal!
Cheers for reading!
I've been aware of Lucid Dreaming for a few years now, but never actively pursued it. After researching spiritual enlightenment, magik, pua, nlp, astral projection, pheromones, alchemy, law of attraction, transitional meditation, Zen, and various religions it's about time I explore Lucid Dreaming more deeply. As well with everything else I study, I plan to master it with full effort with the concepts and ideas that have been developed. After overview of various forums, this looks to the most plausible places to learn, and hopefully I will be able to give something back to this community from my experiences. As far as my experience with LDing, I've had several over the years that I'm able to remember (not including Outer Body Experiences from meditating). I'm fascinated with dreaming and connecting to parts of my life, and more interestingly enough... connecting dreams with other dreams, that I only remember when I'm dreaming! I'll give you a brief overview of what happens in my dreams:
- Deja vu
- Escape disasters
- Self discovery/healing
- Ability to fly :)
- Ability to transport/make things appear.
- Death, I woke up with a ringing in my ear instantly.
It's hard for me to determine when I'm Lucid Dreaming, because I feel in almost all my dreams I'm aware that it may be a dream but become easily distracted with the events around me. If anyone has this problem as well, hopefully you can show me a few pointers on "focusing".
I've unknowingly done most of the techniques that are shown here on this forum to LD, but I find most of them are quite related and not so distinguishable as people make them out to be. For instance I stay awake and fall asleep to a dream, after... I often wake up from a dream and easily fall asleep and have another one (combination of WILD, DILD, DEILD).
I'll end here. I'm open to any questions, concerns, or opinions you may wish to express. I'm looking forward to exploring this community and have some good discussions with the members of this forum.
Happy Dreaming,
Mortal
