Maybe my mind doesn't want me lucid dreaming?

I gotten close to 3 lucid dreams, but nothing. I check my hands realize am dreaming and wake up, today i did, it, i tried to rub my hands but cant control ANYTHING! So i went into darkness. Any tips please? My dreams aren't vivid i tryed to exmaine things but could not...)=. But the werid part was that i felt intense, like my head, or my heart was beating real fast idk. But i hate how my dreams aren't vivid and i cant control anything, and just wake up.

Relax, take in your surroundings and try a different method of stabilization. Instead of rubbing your hands, just look them. Observe the lines and everything else about how they look until things look clear. You can also try using vocal commands.

Relax...don't force it, but focuse.
Perhaps you are too tensed, to excited?
If so you will learn how to comtrol the excitment in time, it might seem hopeless, but it is all temporary.
