Overlooking Dream Signs?
Hello all. I've been curious about training myself to lucid dream for a while, so last week I decided to finally try it. I've never had too much trouble recalling dreams, so my journal's been growing nicely by a few dreams each night. However I noticed something when I thought about them. What I noticed is that I seemed to be overlooking dream signs that should be really obvious. I can recall seeing a clock in at least a few of the dreams. However, more obvious than that, a recent dream involved me looking directly into a large mirror for quite some time. While I can see it being easy to glance over a small digital clock, I don't get how I didn't notice anything about this mirror. Is it possible that the common dreamsigns sometimes don't work (meaning, the mirror would appear normal)? Or do I just need to have a sharper eye? Thanks for any opinons.

Keep practicing. Reinforce your dreamsigns. Think about them as often as you can. Before you go to bed I suggest you read through your DJ and tell yourself that the next time you see a clock you'll become lucid. I also suggest underlining all the dream signs in your DJ.

Those are some good suggestions, I'll do that. Thanks.
