Lucidity Confusion
Lately, I've had trouble discerning in my dreams whether or not I am fully lucid. I have dreams where I realize that I am dreaming, and I attain a small degree of "lucidity", but when I do things in the dream I don't feel entirely lucid. To clarify, I do things in the dreams that you would do if you were lucid (make setting change, make people appear or disappear), but I feel like I'm only projecting this experience. In some way I feel like my mind is tricking me into thinking I'm fully lucid even if I am not.
At the same time, I still get an exhilarating feeling that flows through me when I realize I'm dreaming, so I somewhat feel lucid. I'm just not sure, any advice would help.
Thanks,

Sounds like the dream was either not very vivid, or you have control issues.

Aye, it's just a vividness thing. You can be lucid and in a poor state of perceptual awareness. Sometimes it's just a matter of getting to sleep earlier, but other things like diet and drug use can also effect this.
