A Newbie and his sleep paralysis experiment

Hello there! Im a new person on this forum and i would like to be a part of this lucid dreaming community, and it is my first time sharing some experiences, so i would like to share an experiment i had with sleep paralysis, oKay

So i had already had some experiences with sleep paralysis, i was on my way to a hotel in jasper because of a very traumatic situation i do not wish to describe, and in the hotel i Could not sleep, i kept on trying to sleep but i kept having a feeling, as if i was in a coma.. and i had some heart pain whitch was weird, but also my limbs were paralysed, after words i reasearched it and found i had multiple sleep paralysis situations, so ever since then i have tried to have it again... Now.. on to my experience,

So recently i had tried to do sleep paralysis and i will trry to describe it best i can.

I lied on my stomach with my hands over infront, above my head and i had tried to keep as still as possible and slow my breathing, eventually i could barely make out what/where my fingers and toes were, then all of a sudden, there was a SLIGHT burning pain in my toes, and a wave of numbness fell all over my body and i felt i had reached a climax but i opened my eyes and was immediately awake... I think... so there is my experience,,, pretty cool huh!?

Were you awake..or dreaming? Well you do say you think.... Ehehe I have yet to have a LD so I was going to try a WILD tonight |Freaky stuff happens? D:| When you say awake do you mean like your body felt right again? You were no longer numb? Or you just felt like you were really alert? |I need all the info I can get.|

For your LD, all i can say is Stay calm, and be attentive, Its not too freaky its like being in controll of your dreams and doing whatever you want, Have you ever seen the movie shark boy and lava girl, Its KINDA like that. When i was awake it was like.. my body felt right and i was no longer numb,... And i was having a hard time getting back to sleep Hehheh, im pretty sure i was awake.., One of my really interactive lucid dreams was, I was at my old elementary school, and i wished for a cookie, and a chocolate chip cookie appeared, I wished for juice and it appeared, I wished for a friend and they didnt apear, and i woke up.

Oh why thank you :] I tried a WILD last night and epicly failed ewe So I am going to find the technique that works and have at it

Well try not to get demotivated, and by for A friend, i meant a certain friend lol

for now its better to try to recall the dreams before actually doing anything beyond your limits, well thats what i find works for me, just an opinion

It works best on your back. I have never tried to get into it myself, but I have slipped in without wanting to on numerous occassions. Always I am on my back. For me, I don't like it because it always results in terrible lucid nightmares. Anyway, the way it feels when I am in SP is that I am awake in the dark, but I can't move at all. I don't feel numb or anything, I just can't move. Things in my room aren't quite right though. Obviously, I am not really awake, but it feels like I am.

Yeah I read alot about WILDing and it said that people feel the presence of a manevolent force and impending Doom ._. Seems fun >_>

Thanks for the help Marilwyn, But my most comfortable position is on my stomach with my head facing to my right and my hands in front of me... but on my back works too sometimes

I have read up about Wilds and MILDS i will try to do a WILD. i will report about it in my dream journal if i remember.
